You know that feeling when you walk into your new home? The
excitement! The possibilities! That excitement is why I am a Realtor. Being able to help a buyer
find the perfect home is what motivates me. I have always loved working with
people. It is my goal to confidently guide people through the buying process
and build relationships that last after the sale.
About me
I love exploring, adventuring, and roughing it. I moved to
Alaska to work on a small placer gold claim 100 miles above the Arctic circle, halfway between Wiseman and
Coldfoot. There, as part of a 3-man mining crew, I lived in a one room
shack, with no utilities. We lived pretty rough. We drank from the creek, and
feasted on meat from the unsmashed half of a moose, who met his demise
on the Ice Road. It was refreshing to live so simply, but we never found the
“mother lode”. I received my pay in gold dust and headed for the next adventure.
Back in the lower 48, I previously worked as a muscle car
mechanic in Oregon, a lettuce farmer in West Virginia, a snowmaker in Maine, a dairy farmer in
Pennsylvania, a tanker truck driver in Kentucky, and I was a Sergeant in the
Army Reserve. Also, I’m a leather smith and I enjoy making custom wallets,
holsters, and dog collars.
I came here to Southeast Alaska to work on a fishing
boat. I fell in love with the rugged beauty and the small town feel of
Haines. I love it here, and I’d love to help you buy or sell your home here in
Haines or Skagway.
